Being Taught From My Wagering Blunders

1st to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the web or at physical casinos for many years. I have discovered, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you’re just having fun until you decide to pay attention to your losses and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you become sick in your stomach and the harder you attempt the faster you lose.

When you notice that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this method hardly ever works. Say you’re betting on slots, have a bankroll put aside prior to beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that limit, regardless how alluring. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate cup. Don’t risk your winnings no matter what. As soon as you have played through your original set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it’s on the net or at a land based betting house, don’t stay around. Always remember, there will be a different day, another time.

Always remember, gambling is supposed to be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, do not even start.
