Don’t Drink … Play!

Monday, 23. March 2020

If you enjoy a drink ever so often, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all cash, charge cards and chequebooks at home. Pack only the cash you anticipate to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you intend to throw away and keep the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Realistic more like. You could have a success after a boozy night out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hook a marathon toss at a hot craps table. Keep that adventure because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and gamble. The two just don’t go well together.

Leaving your money out of the casino might be a bit excessive, but defensive measures for excessive behavior is essential. If you play to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to burn your $$$$ nary a concern, then drink all the free alcohol your stomach can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of following losses after your drunk as a skunk brain throws away every little thing!

Permit me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then head on the net to play in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my home, however seeing that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can not drink and wager.

What’s the reason? Although I do not drink to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is certainly adequate to befuddle my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. Both create a ferocious, and crazy, drink.
