Do Not Drink … Play!
Tuesday, 31. March 2020
If you enjoy having a a cocktail every now and then, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your billfold, and leave all cash, plastic credit and chequebooks out of the casino. Only take whatever money you expect to spend on refreshments, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You might experience a profit after a boozy night out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to catch a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that account considering that it is as brief as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and wager. These activities just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moola back at the hotel might be a tiny bit dramatic, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is essential. If you gamble to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you can afford to burn your money without a worry, then consume all the no charge beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not take credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your hooched up brain loses everything!
Permit me to take this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on to the internet to play in your preferred casino either. I love to drink from the comfort of my condo, however considering that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards near by, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
How come? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s certainly adequate to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both make for a decimating, and crazy, drink.
