Leave your pocketbook, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and chequebooks at home. Take only the money you expect to use on drinks, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to burn and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might have a win after a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and bet. These activities simply don’t mix.
Keeping your moolah at home is a bit drastic, but precautionary actions for dramatic actions is necessary. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink and bet. If you can afford to burn your cash without a worry, then drink all the no charge alcohol your stomach can handle, but do not take credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your bombed head squanders every little thing!
